Description: **JOB SUMMARY:** Execute the inspection and Quality Control activities on site, collecting the relevant objective evidences, ensuring supervision and coordination of quality control activities on Instrumentation and , Automation equipment/systems construction and installation activities **PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** 1. Execute the specific inspections on materials, equipment and construction/installation activities on site 2. Issue the relevant Quality Records and provide support for non-conformance reports 3. Check cable laying and cable identification and perform all relevant loop checks 4. Perform visual inspections, dimensional test, check rating and material for connection 5. Perform tests of continuity, insulation resistance 6. Calibrate safety valves and instrument 7. Check installation of instruments and Perform instruments functional test 8. Check pneumatic signal connection and fiber optic cable 9. Perform test communication functionalities 10. Ensure the correct implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan. Witness the tests, controls and inspections carried out according to Inspection and Test Plan 11. Check inspection conformity with the Quality Control Plan/Inspection and Test Plan, issue the relevant documentation, check procedures and equipment to be used in tests, controls and inspections, manage documents certifying tests, controls and inspections 12. Review quality records summaries and their traceability by system, part or area of plant as required for mechanical completion and for documentation to be handed over to client **SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** 1. Must be able to evaluate Factory Acceptance Test and demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of international codes and standards related to packaged units instrumentation including but not limited to Distributed Control System (DCS 2. Update as built drawings **WORK EXPERIENCE:** 4 years experience in the field of instrumentation installation, supervision and control system in Gas & Oil and Petrochemical plant and at least two (2) in inspection activities. **OTHER SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:** Fully conversant with the international Industry Codes and standards related to intrinsically Safe Systems and Electrical Systems for instrumentation such as; ISA RP12.6, ISA RP12.2.02, ISA TR12, ANSI MC96.1, IEEE 518, IEEE 1100, IEC 60529, NEMA ICS 6, NEMA 250, NEMA VE 1, NEMA VE 2, NFPA 70/NEC and UL 94. **ACADEMIC EDUCATION:** B. S. Instrumentation / Electrical Engineering Diploma in Instrumentation / Electrical Engineering **TRAININGS:** ISO 9001 Training **COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE:** Knowledge of MS Word, Excel & Outlook is required
